Spongy Dosa Recipe

Ingredients

raw rice-1 cup

urad dal-1/2 cup

cooked rice- 2 handful

toddy

salt

Preparation

Soak rice and urad dal in water for 6-7 hours. Grind the soaked rice and urad dal into a batter. Add fenugreek seeds to the batter. Ferment the batter for 8-9 hours. Add salt to the batter. Heat a tawa and pour some batter onto it. Spread the batter evenly to make a thin dosa. Cook the dosa until it is golden brown on both sides.

Here are the steps on how to make coconut chutney:

Grind coconut, green chilies, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, and coriander seeds in a blender. Add water to the mixture and blend until it is smooth. Add salt to the chutney. Temper the chutney with mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves.
